Just heard from my dad that my grandmother is hospitalised again. It’s getting more and more frequent, just like what my grandfather did before he left. I still remember my younger days staying with my grandmother She’s the one who taught me how to play poker cards, from one card game to five cards game, from seven cards to thirteen cards. I was so well trained that i know almost all the card games before i have even completed PSLE, and both my parents do not even play a single card game. I believe playing these card games do help my maths when i was younger, but not any further when it comes to complex integration and differentiation of spaces, since my level of card games are maximum 2-D, not even 3-D. I do wish that my grandmother will hold on, as i am still unable to deliver to her that promise of mine when i was young. am i such a failure? But it’s painful to see her struggling with the ambassadors of life, her intake of food is getting lesser and lesser, and she is getting thinner and thinner. Such a dilemna.
